ONLINE THERAPY IN CALIFORNIA

Living with ADHD can feel like trying to navigate a world that wasn't built for you... yet within these challenges lie exceptional gifts waiting to be unlocked.

You're doing your best, but it feels like your brain is betraying you—constantly distracted, overwhelmed, or frozen in place, while tasks pile up and deadlines slip through the cracks. You leave things unfinished, forget important details, or struggle to follow through, even when you care deeply. Motivation disappears, boredom takes over, and even the smallest tasks can feel impossible.

You’ve spent years masking, overcompensating, trying to “keep up,” or being misunderstood. You may hold high expectations of yourself, only to feel like you’re letting yourself and others down—bringing down your confidence and sense of self-worth. It's exhausting!

Maybe you’ve carried the belief that something is wrong with you. That if you just tried harder, cared more, or got it together, things wouldn't feel this hard. And that belief can carry deep, heavy shame, self-doubt, and a sense of failure that's hard to shake.

This is a gentle reminder that there is nothing wrong with you. Your brain just works differently, and that difference deserves to be honored, understood, and supported.

ADHD impacts how you move through life, but it doesn't define you.

It's more than just struggling to focus. ADHD affects your ability to manage time, regulate emotions, follow through on tasks, stay organized, and feel successful in a world that wasn't built for your brain.

ADHD paralysis is real. So is the emotional overwhelm. So is the grief of wondering who you might've been if you had support, understanding, or tools earlier in life.
But here's the truth: it's never too late. It's never too late to understand yourself more deeply, reclaim your strengths, and find ways of living that actually work for you. Healing starts with self-acceptance and compassion—not more pressure to be someone you’re not.

You don't have to keep fighting against your brain. There's space for your needs, your rhythm, and your way of being in this world.

You deserve to feel seen, supported, and empowered—not just to manage your ADHD, but to embrace who you are with compassion and confidence.

"ADHD isn’t a deficit—it’s a different way of experiencing the world. One that comes with a superpower, waiting to be discovered."

- Andreina Cheema

I take a holistic, integrative approach to ADHD therapy that honors your whole self—mind, body, and soul. It’s not just about coping with symptoms, but creating deeper self-understanding, self-trust, and sustainable strategies that align with how you operate best. Here’s how we’ll work together:

Understanding your unique ADHD profile – ADHD shows up differently in everyone. We’ll explore how it affects you—your strengths, your struggles, and your lived experiences—so we can tailor our work to meet your real needs.

Healing the emotional weight of ADHD – We’ll process the shame, grief, or self-blame that often accompanies ADHD. Whether it’s feeling “too much” or “not enough,” this space is for you to release those burdens and begin rewriting the narrative with compassion.

Navigating overwhelm and ADHD paralysis – Learn how to break through overwhelm by working with your nervous system, not against it. Through body-based practices and grounded tools, we’ll help you move from shutdown to action, one step at a time.

Creating systems that support your brain – Together, we’ll explore practical and flexible strategies to help with time management, focus, organization, and follow-through—without expecting you to change who you are.

Reconnecting with your worth – ADHD can take a toll on your confidence. We’ll rebuild it. You’ll learn to trust yourself again, listen to your inner voice, and feel empowered to make choices that align with your values and needs.

Cultivating self-compassion and rest – You’re not meant to hustle endlessly. We’ll reframe internalized beliefs around productivity and self-worth, giving you permission to slow down, rest, and be human—without guilt.

ADHD FAQ's

What are the symptoms of ADHD? ADHD can affect how you think, feel, and move through the world. While each person’s experience is unique, many of these symptoms align with those outlined in the Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders (DSM-5) for Attention-Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder. Inattention Frequent daydreaming, missing details, or struggling to stay focused—even during important tasks or conversations. Forgetfulness Losing track of time, misplacing items, forgetting deadlines or appointments, or frequently needing reminders. Disorganization Difficulty creating or maintaining structure, such as managing tasks, prioritizing, or keeping spaces tidy. Time Blindness Underestimating how long things take, running late, or losing track of time entirely. Task Initiation Challenges Procrastinating or avoiding tasks—especially those that feel boring, overwhelming, or require sustained effort. Emotional Dysregulation Intense or rapidly shifting emotions, low frustration tolerance, and feeling easily overwhelmed. Impulsivity Interrupting others, making quick decisions without thinking them through, or struggling to pause before reacting. Hyperactivity or Restlessness Feeling the need to move constantly, fidgeting, or experiencing an internal sense of being “revved up.” Low Motivation & High Boredom Difficulty getting started, especially with uninteresting tasks, and a tendency to seek stimulation or novelty. ADHD Paralysis Feeling stuck or frozen, especially when facing multiple choices, unclear steps, or looming tasks. Chronic Self-Doubt Feeling like you're not doing enough, falling short, or questioning your worth—despite trying your best. Hyperfocus Becoming deeply absorbed in something to the point of losing track of everything else—often at the expense of other priorities. If any of these resonate with you, know that you're not alone—and you're not broken. ADHD is a real neurodevelopmental condition, and with the right support, strategies, and understanding, you can thrive in your own rhythm and rewrite the narrative you've been carrying.
